Yesterday, in my role as Chair of The Canine Behaviour and Training Society, I had the pleasure of hosting Dr Hannah Capon from Canine Arthritis Management (CAM). Hannah delivered a really informative webinar titled Managing Osteoarthritis in Dogs: A Team-Based Approach to At-Home Care. Hannah did an excellent job of highlighting how collaborative care between vets, behaviourists, trainers, physiotherapists, and guardians etc can make a real difference to a dog’s quality of life. CAM are also running their Chronic Pain Symposium 2026, which features some fantastic speakers from around the world. I have signed up myself as it looks like a brilliant opportunity to learn more about chronic pain and how we can better support the dogs we work with.
